UPDATE AT 6 AM
RCMP officers in High Prairie have three suspects in custody after a shelter-in-place order had been issued for Atikameg.
That order has now been lifted, but the investigation is still ongoing.
Officers say they will provide more updates when more information is available.

High Prairie RCMP have issued a “shelter-in-place” order for residents in Atikameg.
Officers say that they are looking for four male suspects that are armed with firearms and were last seen on Highway 750.
The suspects are considered dangerous.
The public is asked not to travel to the area or stop for any hitchhikers.
Police say they will provide an update once more information is available or when the shelter order is lifted.
The alert was first issued just before midnight last night.
