Peace Regional RCMP officers have arrested a man wanted in connection to a homicide near Slave Lake.
This stems from an incident back in January when officers in Slave Lake found a person, later identified as 39 year old Kirk Grey, dead near Highway 2 east of Slave Lake.
The investigation has seen one person already being charged with second degree murder, 27-year-old John Ricky Wade Laboucan of Edmonton.
Last week police were able to arrest 40 year old Jordan Laboucan of the Whitefish Lake First Nation, he’s facing charges of second degree murder.
He’s currently in police custody, and will make a court appearance in Slave Lake on Wednesday.
