Seeing a clip of Brandan Fraser on the Kelly Clarkson Show, I became aware of a documentary short he executive produced called Saving Superman. Fraser whose oldest song Griffin is on the autism spectrum and Branden got choked up discussing the film as it hits close to home. I went to YouTube to see a trailer thinking it wouldn’t be instantly watchable for free, turns out it is.
The story is about an autistic man who became a fixture in his community living his life like Superman. Heck in the towns local parades he is there, in the parade dressed as his hero. The documentary short looks at his life growing up and the struggles he and his mother endured, and when a new landlord doubles his rent, how the community and even the world stepped up for him.
It is an amazing watch and is just under 11 minutes in length, watch it below:
