This weekend on River Country Rising Stars the headliner was Mariya Stokes with her song “One Of ‘Em.” Mariya is an artist from Alberta and recently released her first album called “Mood Ring” which “One Of ‘Em” is off of that album. Mariya is someone known for her sense of style, standing out in the crowd with her vintage attire and her style of music.
Mariya is heading to northern Alberta playing a show in GP before heading up to High Level June 7th for the towns 60th Anniversary concert event as an opener for Gord Bamford along with Hey Driver! So you will be able to hear “One Of ‘Em” and other songs off her new album at that show.
